What do you love most about photography?
The memories that are documented and forever cherished.
When it comes to products, what made you decide to begin offering products to your clients?
There's nothing like being able to go back and open an album years down the road and see what used to be. I've always enjoyed going to my granny's home and looking at old, dusty albums of when my dad and his siblings were younger. We live in such a digital world now and I've noticed that so many people just leave their photos on their computer and do nothing with them. Seeing a photo printed is special. It's different from seeing it on a computer or cell screen. Having something in hand to see and touch and feel is incredible.
Why do you believe print is important?
It's a tangible memory that us and our loved ones can touch...something we can preserve and relive over and over again. Prints are an amazing keepsake that we can show off. You're more likely to go to your coffee table to pull out photos quickly versus scrolling through a digital file.
What products are your number one sellers?
Albums
What other advice would you give to photographers who aren't selling products but may want too?
I kick myself constantly about not offering products sooner. Clients enjoy the experience more. I, myself love seeing my art in hand. It brings me so much joy and excitement
What do you love most about working with UAF?
