June Marks Pride Month!
It is important to us at UAF Photo Lab to stand with the LGBTQ+ community and celebrate the freedom to just be yourself. As we fully believe every single person has the right to live a full life just as they are.

Pride Month in June and WHY?
June is recognized as Pride Month to mark the anniversary of the Stonewall riots at New York City’s Stonewall Inn on June 28th 1969. A police raid of the Stonewall Inn (a known gay bar) in the Greenwich Village, NY City led to a several day’s-long protest that ignited a national form of activism and the fight for LGBTQ+ equality. You can find many pride events that happen all across the world in June.
How we support the LGBTQ+ Community:
We believe in the importance of standing with the LGBTQ+ community year round however for the month of June we will be changing our UAF Photo Lab logo to match the LGBTQ+ flag to continue to show our support.
